Synopsis:

     America was the most unlikely candidate of selection: he enrolled at the insistence of his mother and took part in the competition just to get away from Aspen, a boy who had broken his heart. To better meet the prince, however, arose a friendship that soon turned into something else ... However, every time Maxon seemed certain that America would choose, some obstacle was the two away. 

     One such obstacle was Aspen, who moved to the guard post at the palace and was determined to win back his girlfriend. Prohibited in meetings, he comforted in the midst of this world of luxury and rivalries. With these comings and goings, America lost a bit of space in the heart of the prince that place was promptly occupied by another competitor. To complete the king hated America and considered the worst option for the child. So, trying to sabotage their relationship, inventing lies and putting the girl in evidence all the time. 

     Now, to get what he wants, America needs to cut ties with Aspen, conquer the people of Illéa and get new political allies. But it can get out of control when she begins to question the caste system and the strategy used to deal with the rebel attacks.
