Eleanor & Park

ANY ERROR, SORRY.

Name: Eleanor & Park
Author: Rainbow
Synopsis:
Eleanor & Park is funny, sad, sarcastic, sincere, and above all, geek. The characters that give the book its title are two young neighbors of sixteen. Park, of Korean descent and passionate about music and comics, just not enough to be popular, but can not be bothered by schoolmates. Eleanos, redhead, always dressed in strange and "big" clothes (she thinks of herself as fat) is the eldest daughter of a troubled family.
The two meet on the school bus every day. Although reluctant at first, start talking, as they share the comic X-Man and Watchmen. And neither piling fun of friends and family disapproval prevents Eleanor Park and fall in love to the sound of The Cure and Smiths.
This is a story about first love, about how it is invariably intense and almost always destined to break hearts. A love that makes you feel hopeless and hopeful at the same time.
This book will take you back to the days of butterflies in my stomach, when I thought all the weight of love and passion that you felt would choke, and when only one hand was already holding suffice to make him walk in the clouds.
